NOMINATION COMMITTEE
As members are aware the Annual General Meeting of the Calgary Rowing Club will be held on February 24th. The Board of Directors of the Club has appointed a Nomination Committee to receive any nominations for the election of officers and Directors to the Board. The mandate for the Nomination Committee is in the Club By-laws at section 4.9.3.3. Basically the committee's job is to ensure the election proceeds fairly and openly and to make certain recommendations to the Board. The Nomination Committee is comprised of Carol Hermansen, Elana Taub and Brian McGuigan as Chair.

HOW DO I NOMINATE SOMEONE?
If you would like to nominate anyone for a position the Nomination Committee asks that you complete a Nomination Form for each person being nominated.

Completed Nomination Forms should be submitted by 5:00 pm on February 23rd (24 hours prior to the meeting). Nominations will also be accepted at the meeting, but members are encouraged to submit their nominations in advance so as to ensure the meeting can be run as efficiently as possible. Nomination forms can be submitted to the Committee Chair, in person, by email or by fax.

WHAT POSITIONS ARE OPEN?
There are six positions open for election as follows:
President - one year term
Vice President - two year term
Treasurer - two year term

3 Members at Large - two year terms.

WHO DO I ASK IF I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS?
If you have any questions about nominations, the positions that are open, the election process or anything else (related to the CRC elections) feel free to ask any of the members of the Nomination Committee.
